CONCORD — U.S. Sen. Maggie Hassan offered her heartfelt congratulations last weekend in announcing first-term state Rep. David Paige (D-Conway) is the recipient of the 2023 Spirit of Opportunity Award during the 2023 Midterm Convention of the New Hampshire Democratic Party.
One of three awards announced at the N.H. Democratic Convention, the honor recognized Paige for “fighting so that more people are fully recognized in our communities.”
During the announcement, Hassan said, “Rep. Paige is a leader in fighting for affordable child care, and he’s helping promote inclusivity in our classrooms and curriculum in New Hampshire. I’m grateful for his commitment to ensuring that our young people can thrive, and that everyone, no matter who they are, has a place in our country’s future.”
Following receipt of the award, Paige said: “I am so honored to be recognized for working toward a future where every child can access high-quality educational opportunities and learn freely and without discrimination. Granite State families deserve representation in Concord that zealously advocates for their success and I am proud everyday to be working for them,” she said.
